From February 21st to 23rd, 2024, InvestJigawa’s team attended a workshop in Mararaba, Nassarawa State, organized by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment. The workshop’s main goal was to educate State Investment Agencies and other stakeholders on the Federal Government’s investment promotion strategy. It also explained the operational guidelines for this strategy and how to leverage the opportunities offered by the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The representative of the Deputy Governor and Chairman of InvestJigawa’s Governing Council, who is the Permanent Secretary of the Deputy Governor’s Office, Alhaji Abdul Ibrahim, led the team along with the Director General Furera Isma Jumare, and the Secretary/Legal Adviser Muhammad Tahir.
