GREAT NORTHERN AGRIBUSINESS CONGRATULATES JIGAWA GOVERNOR-ELECT
The Great Northern Agribusiness Limited (a subsidiary of the LEE GROUP), one of the largest Agribusiness investors in Jigawa State, paid a congratulatory visit to the Chairman InvestJigawa Governing Council, the Deputy Governor and Governor-Elect, His Excellency Mallam Umar Namadi on the 28th of March 2023.
Mr. Wilkins Lam, who led the delegation, congratulated the Governor-Elect on his victory at the March 18, 2023 gubernatorial elections in the state and expressed optimism that he will continue the trajectory of the people-oriented reforms of the State, especially in agriculture. He further briefed His Excellency on the company’s proposed additional projects in Jigawa State and solicited the Government’s support in that regard.
In his response, the Governor-Elect thanked the company and assured them of continued aftercare support from InvestJigawa and the Government.
