INVESTJIGAWA FACILITATED A MEETING WITH GREAT NORTHERN AGRIBUSINESS LIMITED (GNA), SHANDONG SEEDS RESEARCH INDUSTRY, SHANDONG PROVINCE CHINA, AND OFFICIALS OF JIGAWA STATE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES AND ITS AGENCIES.
InvestJigawa facilitated a productive meeting between the management of Great Northern Agribusiness (GNA) Limited, officials from the Shandong Seeds Research Industry in Shandong Province, China, and representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Jigawa Agricultural and Rural Development Agency (JARDA), Jigawa Agricultural Supply Company (JASCO), and Jigawa State Research Institute on the 18th of May 2023. The primary objective of the meeting was to explore potential areas of collaboration in seed production and research, specifically focusing on oil and sugar crops such as peanuts, soybeans, sesame, cotton, sugarcane, among others. In addition, the meeting provided a platform to discuss opportunities for technology transfer and training initiatives.
