INVESTJIGAWA FACILITATED A MEETING WITH FCDO AND JIGAWA STATE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ON POTENTIAL AREAS OF COLLABORATION ON CLIMATE CHANGE
The Director General of InvestJigawa, Furera Jumare, along with her team, successfully organized a meeting on May 30, 2023. The meeting brought together the FCDO Climate Change and Nature Team Leader, Martine Sobey, and her team, along with Alhaji Musa Ibrahim Adaho, the Permanent Secretary of the Jigawa State Ministry of Environment, and Akilu J. Badakaya, Director solar Energy, Jigawa State Alternative Energy Agency. The primary focus of the meeting was to explore potential areas of collaboration and support in promoting environmentally friendly energy solutions and implementing climate-smart agriculture practices within the State.
