STAKEHOLDER MEETING WITH KADUME GREEN CONSORTIUM HELD ON 31ST MARCH 2023
On 31st March 2023, InvestJigawa organised a stakeholder meeting in respect of the investment project of the Kadume Green Consortium’s project in Jigawa State.
The meeting was to discuss the progress made by the company regarding the establishment of its 500ha climate-smart farm at Baranda Forest Reserve, Dutse LGA. The meeting also sought to sensitise members of the host community regarding the project, to ensure harmony and smooth operations. Representing the traditional institution, he District Head of Dutse, Alhaji Jamilu Basiru Sanusi, Turakin Dutse confirmed that the traditional institute is ever ready and willing to support the project, and will ensure it provides balanced and mutually beneficial opportunities for both community and the company. The Chief Operating Officer of the Kadume Green Consortium Abubakar Garba Ibrahim represented the company. Apart from the team from InvestJigawa, others in attendance were the Director Forestry Jigawa State Ministry of Environment, and the Director Grazing Reserve, Farmers and Herdsmen Board.
