INVESTJIGAWA QUARTERLY ACTIVITIES – 4TH QUARTER 2020
In the last quarter of 2020, and with the appointment of a new Director General for the agency, InvestJigawa embarked on a series of activities meant to re-position the agency for effectiveness, increase its visibility in an ever increasing competitive investment climate, engage with stakeholders such as state and federal government Ministries, Departments and Agencies and the Organised Private Sector. The agency also began re-engaging with investors in the pipeline and reaching out to potential investors. Courtesy calls were also conducted on Jigawa State emirate councils where the Director General, Furera Isma Jumare solicited the emirs’ support with sensitisation of citizens. The development of a five-years strategic plan was also commenced, as enshrined in the agency’s law.
