INVESTJIGAWA HOLDS SEMINAR FOR MSMEs, ON VALUE ADDITION FOR EXPORT
On 28th November, 2023 InvestJigawa, under the leadership of its Director General, Hajiya Furera Jumare, organised a seminar for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jigawa State. Held at the Manpower Development Institute, Dutse the event and centred around the theme “Value Addition for Export”. The primary objective was to enlighten MSMEs about the advantages of incorporating value into agricultural commodities, improving incomes, generating employment, and to maximise profit through export of finished or semi-finished goods.
Resource persons included Alhaji Ahmed Rabiu, the Managing Director of Dala Inland Dry Port; Alhaji Abubakar Saddiq Bashir, the North-west Zonal Director of Nigeria Shippers Council; Sulaiman Ibrahim, representative of the Comptroller General of Customs; and Mohammed Susuoglu, an official from the Window of Turkey, among others.
