✈️ JIGAWA TAKES FLIGHT! COMMERCIAL AIR SERVICES TO COMMENCE THIS MONTH ✈️

A new chapter in Jigawa State’s connectivity and economic development is taking off!

The Jigawa State Government has signed a landmark Route Development Agreement with Rano Air, paving the way for the commencement of regular scheduled commercial flights to Jigawa State this September 2026.

Under the agreement, Rano Air will operate three flights every week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, providing greater convenience and improved connectivity for investors, business professionals, government officials, tourists, residents and travellers coming to and departing from Jigawa State.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Jigawa State Government by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), under the supervision of His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Jigawa State. The partnership, facilitated through the Jigawa State Investment Promotion Agency (InvestJigawa), reflects the administration’s deliberate efforts to develop strategic partnerships that unlock new economic opportunities and strengthen the State’s investment ecosystem.

Reliable air connectivity is more than transportation; it is an economic enabler. It will help connect Jigawa to wider markets, facilitate investor access, support businesses, promote tourism and make it easier for people to do business in the State.
