Jigawa State Investment Promotion Agency Holds Stakeholder Engagement and Handover Ceremony for A. M. Rice Limited at Kafin Hausa Local Government Secretariat

The Jigawa State Investment Promotion Agency (InvestJigawa) successfully conducted a stakeholder engagement and official handover ceremony for A. M. Rice Limited at the Kafin Hausa Local Government Secretariat.

The event brought together officials of InvestJigawa, representatives of Kafin Hausa Local Government, traditional rulers, community leaders, representatives of A. M. Rice Limited, farmers’ groups, security agencies, and other key stakeholders to discuss the project’s implementation, expected benefits, and the responsibilities of all parties in ensuring its successful execution.

Speaking at the event, officials of InvestJigawa reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to promoting responsible and sustainable investments that drive economic growth, create employment opportunities, strengthen agricultural value chains, and improve the livelihoods of the people of Jigawa State. They noted that the investment by A. M. Rice Limited aligns with the State Government’s vision of attracting private sector investment to accelerate socio-economic development.

The handover ceremony marked the formal transfer of the project site to A. M. Rice Limited, paving the way for the commencement of project activities. Stakeholders welcomed the initiative and pledged their full cooperation to ensure its successful implementation while safeguarding the interests of the host communities.

InvestJigawa expressed appreciation to the Kafin Hausa Local Government Council, traditional institutions, security agencies, community representatives, and all stakeholders for their support and collaboration. The Agency urged all parties to continue working together to ensure the successful implementation of the project for the benefit of Kafin Hausa Local Government Area and Jigawa State as a whole.
