INVESTJIGAWA DEPLOYS GRIEVANCE REDRESS MECHANISM IN GWARAM

The Jigawa State Investment Promotion Agency (InvestJigawa) has successfully deployed its Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) at the Farin Dutse Forest Reserve, Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

The engagement brought together investors, community stakeholders, traditional institutions, farmers’ representatives, security agencies and relevant government stakeholders to provide a structured platform for dialogue, listening to concerns and addressing grievances arising from investment activities.

The GRM engagement focused on seven investors associated with investment activities at the Farin Dutse Forest Reserve, namely:

• Raudah International Agro Allied Limited
• Origin Export Nigeria Limited
• Wahida Nigeria Limited
• B.A. Bello Nigeria Limited
• A.B. Hamza Nigeria Limited

The engagement provided an opportunity for investors and host-community stakeholders to openly discuss concerns, clarify expectations and strengthen collaboration towards responsible and sustainable investment.

The deployment of the GRM reflects InvestJigawa’s commitment to responsible investment, investor aftercare, inclusive stakeholder engagement and the effective resolution of grievances.
