SIGNING OF AGREEMENT IN JUNE 2021 AND AFTERCARE VISIT TO CARAWAY AFRICA NIGERIA LIMITED’s KUDA GANGARA INTEGRATED TOMATO FARM IN FEBRUARY 2022
In June 2021 Jigawa State Government signed an agreement with Caraway Africa Nigeria Limited (an Olam Group Company) on tomato production and processing. In February 2022 a team from InvestJigawa led by the Director General, Furera Isma Jumare and the Ministry of Land, Housing, Urban Development and Regional Planning, led by the Honourable Commissioner Sagir Musa conducted an aftercare visit to the Caraway project. By the time of the aftercare visit harvest had commenced and a bumper harvest is expected.
