BRITISH HIGH COMMISSION/ FCDO VISIT TO INVESTJIGAWA ON 28TH MARCH 2022
A British High Commission and FCDO team visited InvestJigawa on the 28th of March 2022, led by Gail Warrander, the commission’s Economic Development Lead. Also on the team were Andrew Thorburn, FCDO-LINKS Team Lead and Fidelis Ekom, FCDO’s Regional Coordinator Jigawa/Katsina States. FCDO has continuously provided technical support to Jigawa State Government for over two decades, and this time had a session with InvestJigawa to discuss the agency’s activities, especially any more areas of support it would require from team.
During the visit a tripartite meeting was also held between the British High Commission/FCDO team, InvestJigawa and Comttraex Nigeria Limited, a company InvestJigawa is signing an MOU with for a PPP in hibiscus cleaning, processing and export. Jigawa State is the largest producer of hibiscus. The Comttraex team was led by Farouk Batagarawa.
