COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT UPDATE

InvestJigawa has successfully facilitated grassroots engagement with the people of Garin-Chiroma, Matumbi, Goda, and Maijuruwa communities in Gagarawa Local Government Area.

The engagement was led by Dr. Zakiyyu Muhammad, the Secretary of the Agency, as part of efforts to promote transparency, mutual understanding, and peaceful coexistence in relation to the ongoing site clearance activities of GNA, a subsidiary of Lee Group.

During the interactive sessions, community members were given the opportunity to express their concerns, seek clarifications, and receive assurances on matters relating to land use, safety, and anticipated socio-economic benefits. InvestJigawa reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding community interests while fostering an enabling environment for responsible and sustainable investment in Jigawa State.
